The keepsake page

The keepsake page reads a .txt or .zip you choose and can save HTML or PDF on that device. It does not upload the chat.

What stays in the browser

Chat text, participant names, filenames, and media bytes stay in the browser.

The daily counter

The daily counter in this browser stores only a date and a number.

Optional research

Research is optional. When collection is on, it receives coded answers and coarse funnel events, and an email only with separate consent. It does not receive the chat.

Research answers remain until the observation window is frozen and for up to 30 days afterward, with a 12-month hard maximum. Optional email remains for at most 90 days. Abuse fingerprints expire after 24 hours and contain no raw IP address.

What Threadkeep does not request

Threadkeep does not request a WhatsApp login, a phone backup, or the conversation for conversion.
